Jean Best’s Paint Pouring Process
Even though different paint colors go into a cup, none of the colors blend. As the paint is poured onto the surface, a chemical reaction occurs. No paintbrushes are used!
Step 1
After each separate color is prepared, the different colors are poured into cups one color at a time. Each cup now has formed separate layers of paint.
Step 2
The cups are carefully flipped over on a surface that has been primed with a wet paint solution. The layers of paint then emerge from the cups.
Step 3
As paint flows freely on the surface, the canvas can be tilted in various directions to cover the edges and create a pleasing visual result.
